Dr. Kevin T. Brady co-founded and serves as President of Kerygma Parish Consulting. He is also Chairman and CEO of the Hibernian Global Education Initiative. Dr. Brady had studied at the St. Pius X Seminary in Dalton, Pa while enrolled at the University of Scranton. There, he obtained his bachelors’ degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Scranton. He majored in history, with minors in theology and philosophy. He received both his doctorate and master’s degree in history from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Brady has taught at St. Monica School in Philadelphia and at Camden Catholic (NJ) High school, as well as in New Jersey Public Schools. He holds a religious education certification from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and a social study teaching certification in the State of New Jersey. In addition to teaching middle school and high school, he served as an assistant professor at Georgian Court University, teaching graduate and undergraduate classes, and as an adjunct professor of history at Temple University, Camden County College, and Cumberland County College.
Currently, Brady serves as the Chair of the Notre Dame de la Mer Parish Council and is the Lead Delegate for the parish’s Missionary Disciples. He sat on the Board of Directors for the Malvern Retreat House and on the St. Joseph’s Parish Council in Swedesboro, NJ. Dr. Brady has sat on the school boards of both the Bishop Guilfoyle Regional Catholic School in Carneys Point, NJ and the Guardian Angels Regional School in Gibbstown, NJ.
In his earlier business career, Dr. Brady founded the American Institute for History Education and CICERO Systems, a national company for professional development for teachers. He also created the highly acclaimed Liberty Fellowships® that have greatly increased teacher content knowledge and student achievement in thousands of schools around the nation. Dr. Brady has created award winning online resources, such as: CICERO History Beyond the Textbook®; CICERO Kids™, and Sojourner History™. He developed the New Jersey Amistad Commission’s online African American History & Culture curricula, and he wrote the New Jersey Italian Commission’s, infusion curriculum. He has written articles in numerous publications. Dr. Brady served as the Director of the Center for Strategic Urban Community Leadership’s Institute for Best Practices and Innovations in Urban Education at Rutgers University, Camden and as Director of Operations at the LEAP Academy University Charter School, at Rutgers, Camden. He also served as Vice President for Education Programs at the Bill of Rights Institute, in Washington, DC. There, he authored, created, managed, and edited the BRI’s initial flagship resources, The Bill of Rights and You, and Citizenship & Character: Understanding American Values, among other BRI products.
