Most parishes throughout the United States have lost considerable membership over the past few decades. Moreover, parishes in the Diocese of Camden have lost a tremendous number of souls since the mergers in 2007. Jesus has told us that our Church will last forever, and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it; nevertheless, what can we, his disciples, do now to reverse this dolorous trajectory?
Catholic parishes were facing considerable challenges before the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Since then, we all know these challenges have been magnified exponentially. In order to rebound from this assault, parishes need to plan now. Waiting for the crisis to end, might be too late. When the churches are open again, your parish can hit the ground running, ministering to the many suffering parishioners. Like with most misfortunes throughout history, the secession of the Coronavirus will bring many opportunities to evangelize and bring those who had fallen away and new converts into a relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Kerygma Parish Consultants had studied this pre-Corona crisis in depth and had experienced the decline our own parishes. Prior to Corona, we had come together to apply our parish experiences with our experiences growing an education and tech-education company into a national organization that worked with thousands of schools throughout the United States. We have created strong evangelization plans that use modern marketing and social media techniques, while at the same time entreating the Holy Spirit and our Blessed Mother for aid.
Our plan will first conduct a diagnosis of the pariah’s physical, spiritual, social, and financial health. We will identify problems and challenges and then concentrate concrete strategies for improvement. To rectify any problem, we must first identify it, then acknowledge it as a problem, and then set specific, measurable goals to remedy the problem.
